Food rotation and specialty labels

Food service and specialty labels have to stick, survive the cooler or the wash, and come off when they should.

Label stocks built for the use: dissolvable, tamper-evident, removable, and food rotation.

3 Sigma's dissolvable label stock dissolves completely within seconds in room temperature water. Its SigmaKoat TE tamper-evident stock holds from -40°F to 176°F. Pattern coating puts gummed and dry areas as narrow as 1/4 inch on one web, to a 1/16 inch tolerance.

Business forms, ID cards, and direct mail

A form with an ID card built in has to run through the printer as one sheet, and the card has to come off clean when someone pulls it.

Laminated Solutions makes the films and adhesives inside the piece. Your printer makes the finished form, card, or mailer.

Strata-Tac's integrated films let a printer image a form and its label or ID card in the same pass on production laser and digital equipment, so the card always matches its form. Its affixed films put insurance and membership cards, piggyback labels, and clean release cards on top of a carrier. 3 Sigma makes adhesives for affixing credit cards to carriers, 100% opaque block-out labels, and NewsLabels™ and MailLabels™, repositionable notes for the outside of newspapers and mail pieces.

3 Sigma runs hot-melt, solvent, and emulsion adhesive coating lines for webs from 3 to 80 inches wide, and its Troy plant is registered to ISO 9001:2015 for specialty pressure-sensitive paper and film products for label converters. Strata-Tac runs two 61 inch gravure coating lines and a 40 inch UV curable coating line, coats films and paper from 0.5 mil to over 10 mils thick, makes BS5609 certified label materials, and slits rolls down to 1 inch wide.
