Applications

Point-of-purchase displays

A display has to go up fast, hold on wood, metal, plastic, glass, or corrugated, and look clean with no mechanical fasteners.

Double-sided foam and film tapes replace mechanical fasteners in the build. Removable tapes, magnetic tape, and hook and loop handle graphics that change.

Twin Stick, a double-sided permanent foam tape rated for service from -20°F to 150°F, handles permanent builds, with LSE versions for low surface energy plastics. Remo tapes hold on one side and release on the other, so graphics swap cleanly.

Materials: Twin Stick, Dubl Kote, DK Film, Remo One, Remo Two, Duraco Magnetic Tape, Duraco Hook and Loop

Appliances

Appliance tapes have to bond dissimilar parts, including low-surface-energy plastics, and hold through heat, humidity, chemicals, and vibration.

Foam, film, and tissue tapes bond trim, brackets, glass, and control panels, and gasketing seals out moisture and damps vibration.

Duraco High Bond acrylic foam core tapes replace mechanical fasteners in consumer and commercial appliances. Uses include hat channels and brackets, deco glass, LCD instrument panels, button assemblies, and light pipes in refrigerators, stoves, washers, and dryers.

Materials: Duraco High Bond, Dubl Kote, DK Film Hi-Tack Acrylic, Twin Stick, 2441 Tissue Tape, polyethylene, PVC, and vinyl nitrile neoprene gasketing

HVAC

Heating and cooling equipment needs seals that keep air and water in place and keep the unit quiet.

Weather stripping, high-density urethane foam, and bonding tapes seal doors, frames, and drip pans, and cut noise.

Duraco High Bond replaces mechanical fasteners and welding in heating and air conditioning unit assembly. The same seals go into furnaces, boilers, heat pumps, duct work, duct access doors, and roof curbs.

Materials: Duraco High Bond, Dubl Kote, Duraco High Density Urethane (Poron), and low-density, medium-density, and VNN weather stripping

Transit packaging and e-commerce

A carton or mailer has to close fast, stay sealed through the network, and open cleanly for the customer.

Tear tapes, closure tapes, and tamper-evident tapes built into the package.

Duraco 4853 tear tape is engineered to tear films three mils thick or greater. Infinity Tapes HG53 tamper-evident tape carries a hidden graphic message. Infinity transfer tapes close and bond paper, corrugated, and paperboard.
